The Lens is a digital media publication for stories on policy, politics, and culture. They outsource their media coverage from people directly affected by the issues.
They needed a bold word mark that could rival those of major news sources. After playing with logos inspired by Bauhaus & De Stijl imagery, and then attempting a modern take on the gothic word marks of New York Times and Washington Post, we ultimately settled on a simple wordplay logo.
